Protect Trans Health Tennessee: Resource Zine

This zine was created with the intention of sharing information about the ongoing state of trans rights in Tennessee and how to support trans Tennesseans.

In March 2023, a trans youth healthcare ban was signed into law by Governor Lee, barring gender-affirming care for minors in Tennessee after July 1st (with a detransition timeline of March 2024 for trans youth already receiving care).  Many additional anti-trans bills have been filed this year, and it is essential that allies learn about the issues to start resisting the attack on our rights.

About the Zine: This zine offers an explainer about the state of anti-trans legislation in Tennessee with resources for trans youth, blurbs for relevant local groups, and ways to support trans-led mutual aid relief funds. The zine is a single sheet 8-pager, meaning that it can be folded from 1 sheet of paper to save resources and be turned into an 8-page mini zine. The download bundle includes instructions on how to print and fold the zine.

While this zine is free to download and reprint for anyone wishing to spread information about resisting anti-trans legislation in Tennessee, (if you have the resources) it is recommended to make a donation of any amount to Mutual Aid Babes, the rural Middle Tennessee trans mutual aid relief fund, which supports healthcare access and bail funds for trans folks being criminalized by anti-trans laws.
